getPakistan.com is one of the oldest and most recognized internet portal. Launched in March 2000 from Houston, Texas getPakistan.com attracts over 60000 unique visitors per month from USA, UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The company has call center in Pakistan since January 2003 to serve its US customers. We are looking to expand into Pakistani advertising market during 2007. The company will be initially targeting small to medium size businesses to advertise on the web site in various formats including banner ads, business profiles and sales lead generation.

Qualifications required:

An ideal candidate should possess following qualities:

1. At least 2 years experience in advertising sales in Yellow pages, newspaper classifieds or internet.
2. Good communication and presentation skills
3. Ability to use internet, msn/yahoo chat, MS word, MS excel and PowerPoint presentation
4. Should have a reliable transportation to make client visits
5. Proven track record of advertising sales
6. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
7. Stable and mature personality with a long term vision for growth

Responsibilities:

The advertising Sales Associate will be responsible to perform following functions:

1. Identify and prospect new clients
2. Visit client offices to make presentations and close sales with small to medium size businesses
3. Groom large corporate clients for co-branded web pages and other promotional ideas.
4. Secure purchase order and collect payment from the client
5. Coordinate with the technical department for ad placement and report generation
6. Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
7. Follow up with advertisers for invoiced payments
