Sending documents
with your application
You will need to
bring or send certain documents with your Student visa
application. You will need to make sure that the
documents are properly copied and translated.

Certified copies
If an original copy
is not specified, you may supply a certified or
notarised copy. A certified or notarised copy is a
copy that has been authorised or stamped by a person
or agency recognised by the law in your country to
perform such functions.
In Australia, copies
may be certified by a:
- Justice of the
Peace,
- Commissioner for
Declarations, or
- person before whom
a statutory declaration may be made under the Statutory
Declarations Act 1959.
Translations
Documents in
languages other than English must be
accompanied by an English translation. If you are
applying in Australia, the translator must
be accredited by the National Accreditation Authority
for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI).

of school enrolment for your school-aged
dependants, and
- evidence
of health insurance for each dependant.

be satisfied you have not breached your
work conditions,

academic transcripts and previous record
of attendance to show that you satisfied
your course requirements, and
- evidence
