Inspired to optimize the best possible ratio of cabin space to engine & boot, the tall cabin design of the Baleno provides roominess of a luxury villa. Its high hipline and concave structure gives you loads of head and legroom to splash around in.
The spacious front seats with contoured headrest hold you firmly yet comfortably.
Thick cushioning and a spring-mounted base jells effortlessly to make back support on long journeys a pleasure. The rear seats too offer ample head, elbow and legroom.
Seats
For a more personalized driving position the Baleno comes with a standard seat height adjuster for the front seats, while the rear seat employs a fold-down seatback. All the seats have been designed to provide high levels of comfort and safety.
The driver seat has thick cushioning and spring mounted mats. It also comes with a height adjuster to find the right driving position that is required. The front seats are also fitted with adjustable head restraints, which adds to safety of the passenger.
The rear passenger seats are designed to be comfortable with the same thick cushioning and spring mounted mats that take the strain out of long journeys. The rear passenger seat comes with a collapsible armrest.
Instrument Panel
The contemporary instrument panel of the Baleno effortlessly incorporates the ergonomic design, which ensures a wide and unobstructed view of the road ahead.
The instrument panel is rounded towards the driver to create an independent cock-pit feel. The contoured dashboard houses the instrumentation in a glare free console.
The stereo - radio and hazard light switches are all prominently located on the top center of the console for easy access and improved operation in emergencies. The urethane steering wheel mounted on a heavy-duty shaft reduces vibrations.
The dashboard houses a glove box large enough to hold A4 size magazine. Additional storage space is provided in the form of console pockets and front door pockets on both sides.
All controls have been carefully positioned for intuitive operations. Equipped with power steering, central locking, electric power windows and electrically adjustable outside mirrors that come as standard features of this luxury sedan.
The wiper employs a 4-point injection nozzle for superior wiping performance. It also features 2 speed along with intermittent wipers. The gearshift, indicator and wiper controls are all just a finger touch away.
Baleno's dashboard panel has a PANACONCAVE™ design that has successfully created an independent cockpit-like feeling for enhancing the driver-car communication. The driver seat of the Baleno provides a wide and unobstructed view of the road ahead.
Trunk and luggage space
The Baleno's raised rear design conceals a spacious boot that houses 346 liters of space. The boot lid is cut down to bumper level for trouble free loading and unloading. The boot also has a trunk light, which comes on when the trunk lid is opened and remains on as long as you keep the lid open. |
